CFYDC (Chance) now in its 17th year is going from strength to strength, the organisation was Initially set up to counter act the social problems in the local Chapeltown area and give vulnerable young people an environment where they could grow in confidence. And as adults grow into productive members of society.
Founder members Will Bowler and Lutel James with a small team of staff started out with Chapeltown Juniors Football Club, using sport as a tool to engage with the young people, within a very short space of time this proved very successful and CFYDC became a registered charity. The organisation now supports and provides services to over 900 young people every week and has up to 100 employed but mainly voluntary workers.
CFYDC (Chance) welcomes all people from all back grounds and our community extends its self far beyond Chapletownand across the whole North East of Leeds, with this growth we have extended the projects we offer, currently at 13 we are confident we can offer something to you or your child to develop there skills be it boxing, rugby, football, music or additional leaning.
With continued support and investment over the next few years we aim to provide more services and projects to young people and families offering even better facilities.
CFYDC (Chance) is committed to building people, places, environments, friendships, communities and its self as an organisation.
